There was a fire at Hagley Park Sports College in which the performing arts department and part of the bridge that links to the first floor English block was damaged and a lot of coursework was lost or damaged in the blaze. Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service confirmed that arsonists started the fire, and a man was charged with the offence.
